Bless began dancing at the age of 15, quickly going on to train at London Studio Centre graduating in 2010 before going on to travel the world gaining experience in Musical Theatre, TV & Film as a actor, dancer and choreographer.
As a choreographer Bless is able to harness his extensive experience to deliver a slick, streamlined & high-class end product which any client can take pride and confidence in. Bless's Jazz choreography is a dance form with roots in America with the European influence of elegance and the African influence of rhythm layered with detail, producing an energetic flow and exhilarating class of rhythmic and dynamic movement. He borrows from classical ballet, modern dance, blending other varied techniques such as folk dance, lyrical dance, swing dance and musical styles of past and present, even social and cultural influences all make up his style and energy of jazz. He takes the audience on a journey telling the story through movement and emotions. Bless's commercial routine refers to dancing performed in pop artist live shows, music videos and movies. His style features a mixture of sharp and fluid movements, popping & locking, jazz, street, hip hop, modern and even smooth commercial Latin fusion. The style suits perfectly to both live shows, musicals and commercials, films and adverts, achieving an unforgettable experience for the audience as well as the cast, crew, production team. Bless's Lyrical/Contemporary dance style is a combination of ballet, jazz dance, modern and dance improvisation that often uses music with lyrics to inspire the movements of the dancer. Bless uses the lyrics from the song to inspire the dance and the result is a style that focuses on strong emotion as well as a more individual approach than that of many mainstream dance genres.
It is a very precise dance style with the dancer’s movements portraying the emotion, story of the song, understanding music, rhythm, the space around a dancer, and how to take technical classical lines and make them different.
Music for his routines and projects may consist of many genres including pop, rock, slow music, instrumental music and hip-hop. His choreography attempts to show the meaning of the music. It is very passionate and can tell a story through movement.
